My camera used to work for both Teams and Zoom, but now it no longer works in Teams. It comes on briefly and then turns off, freezing the last image. Camera works fine with zoom. IT has been trying all kinds of updates to no avail. Please help!!! We have really pushed this with our students and now I am the unprofessional one saying “I don’t know why my webcam isn’t working.

For additional info – I have a Lenovo laptop. It does not work with built-in camera, or with my Logitech webcam. It does not work with the desktop app, or the browser. I have tried reinstalling the driver, modifying the privacy camera settings, firewall. I disabled the build in cam.

Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. In reply to Rodel Mahilum’s post on July 14, Thank you for the response I have tried all of those things to no avail. The only thing that seems odd, however, is that when I go to the App Permissions, Teams is not listed there as an option. I have searched but cannot seem to locate a reason why it would not be there, other than it means the desktop app is not downloaded, but it is Go to Settings – Applications – Applications and Features.

Have you found the Camera app on the list? I’ve set all the defaults there. Hi Tammy, I am so sorry it didn’t help. Try to uninstall teams and restart your computer, then reinstall teams. Search for Device Manager , and click the top result to open the app. Expand the Imaging devices , Cameras , or Sound, video, and game controllers branch.
